    To prove this, we need:-

    • An Jug
    • Brine Solution or salt solution
    • Electrodes
    • Battery

    What we need to do is, insert the electrodes in the Brine solution and then, we will see the electrolysis of NaCl. This will be Na+ and Cl- ions. This shows they are good conductors.

    2)Iron is more reactive than copper.

    Carrying out an experiment with

    • Iron Nail
    • Copper Sulphate

    [tex]\sf Fe+CuSO_4 \rightarrow FeSO_4+Cu[/tex]

    Copper gets displaced and FeSO4 is formed. This shows Iron is reactive than Copper.

    For this, we need:-

    Taking a pichkari, we can fill in the air exhaled by us in Lime water. We will observe formation of white precipicate ie [tex]\sf CaCO_3+H_2O[/tex] which only occurs in presence of Carbon dioxide. Hence, exhaled air contains Carbon Dioxide.

    2. Take some Iron fillings and dip them in the Copper sulphate solution. After some time you will notice that there is a colour change in the solution which is caused due to the displacement of Copper from it solution. This shows that Iron is more reactive than Copper.
    3. Place a straw inside it. Then take a deep breath and blow gently into the straw. The limewater turns milky. This goes to show that the carbon dioxide present in the exhaled air turns the limewater chalky.
