   Given,

   x + y = 32

   x = 32 – y…. (I)

   x – y = 22

   32 – y – y = 22

   – 2y = 22 – 32

   y = -10 / – 2

   y = 5….(II)

   Putting the value of y in equation (I), we have

   x = 32 – 5

   x = 27

   Therefore, the two values are 27 and 5 respectively.

   from equation (1) x=32-y(3)

   putting value of x in equation 2

   32-y-y=22

   32-22=2y

   10=2y

   y=5

   Hence value of two numbers is 27 and 5
