out of which 3 who were not going earlier are now ready to go, then what is the new ratio?

  1. Answer:

    8,6:2,4

    Step-by-step explanation:

okay so first you need to add the ratios 8+3=11

to find the number of the first one: 55(total number)÷11(the ratio altogether) × 8(number of the first ratio)=40

to find the second one: 55÷11×3=15

to make sure that it’s accurate:15+40=55(so its correct)

now so for those who are now ready you’ll have to add 3 to 40 and subtract 3 from 15

    so now you’re left with (1)=43 & (2)=12

to find the new ratio you’ll do the same way just twist the signs

    so first one: 43÷5= 8.6

    second one: 12÷5= 2.4

    the new ratio is 8.6 : 2.4
