    We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

    Here, we have to apply normal arithmetic method.

    5 children for = 3 men

    1 child for = 3/5 men

    1000 children for = (3×1000)/5 = 600 men

    And,

    4 men for = 3 women

    1 man for = 3/4 women

    600 men for = (3×600)/4 = 450 women

    Hence, there are 450 women.
