    adding 1/4 water it will be 1+1/4=5/4 litre milk

    now he selling it rps 50 per litre

    so,

    if 1 litre in 50 rps

    then 5/4 liter in 50×5/4 rps

    that is 61.5

    so his profit is (61.5-40)= 21.5 rps
