  1. Answer:

    mark me as BRAINLIST and thanks my answer

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let the cost of 1 chair be Rs x and the cost of 1 table be Rs y.

    So, 3x + y = 1500…(1)

    And 6x + y = 2400…(2)

    Equations (1) and (2) represent the situation described in the question.

    From (1) and (2)

    3x = 900

    So, x = 300

    So, y = 600

    So, the cost of 1 chair is Rs 300

    And the cost of 1 table is Rs 600

  2. Answer:

    let’s the chair cost price be x and table be y

    from 1st condition,

    3x + y = 1500 —–(1)

    6x + y = 2400 —–(2)

    subtract the equations 1st and 2nd

    6x + y = 2400

    – 3x – y = -1500

    ___________

    3x = 900

    x = 300 —–(3)

    put the value in equations 1st

    6 × 300 + y = 2400

    1800 + y = 2400

    y = 2400 – 1800

    y = 600

    therefore, cost price of a chair is rs 300 and table is rs.600.
