   (i) 4x – 3x + 2

   a=1, b=2,c=0

   b²- 4ac

   (2)² – 4x1x0

   now,

   x = -b ± √b²-4ac/2a

   = -2±√4/2×1

   = -2±2/2

   = -2+2/2 , -2-2/2

   = 0/2 , -4/2

   = 0 , -2

   x = -2

   (ii) 3x² +9x

   a=3, b=9, c=0

   b² – 4ac

   (9)² – 4×3×0

   81 – 0
