  1. Clearly, PR is smaller than PQ, so, it is an internal division of the line PQ. So, R will lie in between P and Q, on the line joining them. So, PR:QR = 2:3.

    So, the abscissa of R = [{3*(2) + 2*(-3)} / 5] = 0 and,

    the ordinate of R = [{3*(-1) + 2*(4)} / 5] = 1.

    So, the coordinates of R = (0, 1).
