   100489 is least number of six digit which is perfect square.

   We know that, 100000 is lowest 6 digit number.

   From above long division method we can see that it is not perfect square.

   Here, Quotient =316

   =99856 but it is 5 digit number.

   Let us take square of 317

   =100489.

   ∴ 100489 is least number of six digit which is perfect square
