Find four rational numbers between 1/4 and 2/3

    [tex]\huge\underline\pink{answer} \: – [/tex]

    1/4 and 2/3

    – 1/4 × 3/3 , 2/3 × 4/4

    – 3/12 , 8/12

    – rational number between 1/4 and 2/3 are

    – 4/12 , 5/12 , 6/12 , 7/12 ,

Steps to Locate √3 on number line.

    [tex]\huge\underline\pink{answer} \: – [/tex]

Draw line AD of length 1 cm

Draw line BD of length 1 cm, perpendicular to AD

Join AB to get a line of length √2. AB will be of length √2, as per Pythagoras theorem on Right Triangle ABD, right angled at D

Once we have length √2 defined (AB), we have to draw line BC of length 1 cm, perpendicular to AB. This is done to plot √3

Now join AC to get a line of length √3. AC will be of length √3, as per Pythagoras theorem on Right Triangle ABC, right angled at B

Once we have length √3 defined (AC), we can plot it on number line using a compass.

Adjust the compass, to keep the Metal point or Needle on point A & Pencil point to Point C.

compass, you can now rotate the compass to plot the point on the number line.

Show that 3.142 is a rational number

    [tex]\huge\underline\pink{answer} \: – [/tex]

yes 3.142 is the rational number

    hence 3.142 = 3142/1000

its is in the from of p/q

    where p – 3142 and q – 1000

so therefore 3.142 is the rational number .
