In amoeba phagocytosis and pinocytosis both occurs while in paramecium only phagocytosis occurs. And in pinocytosis it secretes Exoenzymes which digest tube food material outside the cell and the nutrition is then absorbed by the mechanism of diffusion in to the cell.
