    Answers:

    1. Natural Numbers : The positive integers (whole numbers) 1, 2, 3, etc., and sometimes zero as well.

    2. Even Numbers : A number which is divisible by 2 and generates a remainder of 0 is called an even number.

    3. Odd numbers : An odd number is a number which is not divisible by 2. The remainder in the case of an odd number is always “1”.

    4. Prime Numbers : A number that is divisible only by itself and 1 (e.g. 2, 3, 5, 7, 11).

    5. Composite Numbers : A natural number greater than 1 that is not prime is called a composite number. For example, 5 is prime because the only ways of writing it as a product, 1 × 5 or 5 × 1, involve 5 itself.

    6. L.C.M : L.C.M. defines the least number which is exactly divisible by two or more numbers.

    7. H.C.F : HCF or Highest Common Factor of two or more numbers is the greatest factor that divides the numbers. For example, 2 is the HCF of 4 and 6.

    8. Prime Factors for 25: 5 and 5. Prime Factors for 100: 2, 2, 5, and 5.
