  1. Answer:

Ratio of students in 6A and 6B =6:11(given)

    According to the question

    6A/6B=6/11

    Let 6A be x

    Let 6B be y

    or, x/y =6/11

when 6B has 25 more students than 6A

    or, 6B =6A + 25

    or,y = x+25(as 6B is assumed as y and 6A as x)

    by the problem,

    x/x+25=6/11

    or,11*x=6*(x+25)

    or,11x=6x+150

    or,11x-6x=150

    or,x=30

    Students in 6A = 30

    therefore students in 6B =x+25=30+25=55

    6A:6A+6B=30:55+30=6:17
