    length+ breadth=18 cm. for the area to be maximum, the length and breadth must be equal. that is 9 cm. therefore maximum area =81 cm²

    if the product of length and breadth is small, the area is minimum.so, the length=18 cm and breadth=1cm for obtaining minimum area….
