    first substitute in area of trapezium formula to get height

    then divide the trapezium to get two triangles and one rectangle

    now add the areas of the individuals and equate it to the area

    you will get the equation : a+155b=624 where a is longer side and b is shorter side

    we know a-b = 8

    on solving these equations , we get the answer
