    12. The postmaster sent money to Lencho in order to keep Lencho’s faith in God alive. … Even after he saw that Lencho had requested for money, he stuck to his resolution of answering the letter. He gathered as much money as he could and sent it to Lencho. He signed it ‘God’ so that Lencho’s faith would not get shaken.

    13. The following Sunday Lencho came a bit earlier than usual to ask if there was a letter for him. It was the postman himself who handed the letter to him while the postmaster, experiencing the contentment of a man who has performed a good deed, looked on from his office.

14.Explanation: Lencho was not surprised to see the money, because he has immens faith in God and he was sure that God will help him.

    15. Lencho got angry after counting the money because he demanded for 100 pesos but the envelope contained only 70 pesos. He thought god will never make a mistake and the post office employee have stoled the remaining money.

    16. lencho seek the help of God because the hailstones had destroyed there whole crop.

    17. Lencho wrote in his second letter that God:” of the money that I asked for, only 70 pesos reached me. Send me the rest 30 pesos ,since I need it very much. he asked not to send the rest of the money through the mail because the post office employees are a bunch of crooks.

    18. Lencho is good and hardworking man who has complete faith in god. However his crops get destroyed in a hailstorm. Since he had complete unshakable faith in god, he writes a letter to god telling that he now needs 100 pesos in order to fulfill his family needs.

    19. The irony about the ending is that LENCHO who had immense faith in God is not satisfied with the behavior of human beings and his faith in GOD turns to be more powerful when Lencho gets the envelope from the post office which had money in it
