There are 2062 books in a school. 62 books were wrong books. 1000 books were taken by students. Now another school gave him 20,000 books to that school which were having only 1000 books! Now tell me that how many books they are having and how many books they lost?

No. of wrong books = 62
No. of books taken by students = 1000
No. of books given by another school = 20,000
( When the school was actually having 1000 )
Solution :
No. of books : 2062
(-) Wrong books : 62

Current books : 2000
(-) No. of books taken by students : 1000
__________________
Current books : 1000
( When the another school was giving them books ) ∴ No books were lost, as the current no. of books = The no. of books that the school had when the another school donated
(+) No. of books donated by another school : 20,000

Current Books : 21,000
___________________
➪ No of books lost = 0
➪ No of books they are having now = 21,000
