   Opposite sides of parellelogram are equal.

   [tex]AB + BC + CD + DA = 4012 + x + 12 + x =402x + 24 = 40x + 12 = 40/2 = 20x = 20-12 = 8.[/tex]

   Measure of other side is 8 cm.
