   To find :

   Other rational number

   Solution :

   Let, the other rational number be x

   According to question :

   [tex] \frac{2}{3} + x = – 5 \\ \\ = > x = – 5 – \frac{2}{3} \\ \\ = > x = \frac{ – 15 – 2}{3} \\ \\ = > x = \frac{ – 17}{3} [/tex]

   So, the other rational number will be -17/3 ✔
