    given : a train complete its journey in two parts

    In Ist it covers distance = 400km

    time taken = 7hrs

    In IInd it covers distance = 550 km

    time taken = 8hrs

    hence , avg. speed = total distance / total time

    = 400 +550/7+8 km/hrs

    = 950/15 km/hrs

    = 63.33 km/hr
