  1. Answer :-

    Area of the square = 4 m²

    Given :-

    The diagonal of the square = 2√2 m

    To find :-

    Area of the square

    Solution :-

    First we have to find the side of the square. Then, we will find the area of the square by using the value of the side of the square.

    => Diagonal of a square = side × √2

    => 2√2 m = side × √2

    => [tex]\dfrac{2\sqrt{2} }{\sqrt{2} }[/tex]m = side

    => 2 m = side

    => Area of a square = (side)²

    => Area = (2 m)²

    => Area = 4 m²

    More To Know :-

    [tex]\star[/tex] Perimeter of square = 4 x side

    [tex]\star[/tex] Perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)

    [tex]\star[/tex] Diagonal of rectangle = [tex]\sqrt{(Length)^2 +(Breadth)^2 }[/tex]

    [tex]\star[/tex] Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

    • Area of the square

    ⛦ Solution :-

    First we have to find the side of the square. Then, we will find the area of the square by using the value of the side of the square.

    ∵ Diagonal of a square = side × √2

    ⇒ 2√2 m = side × √2

    ⇒ [tex]\dfrac{2\sqrt{2} }{\sqrt{2} }[/tex]m = side

    ⇒ 2 m = side

    ∵ Area of a square = (side)²

    ⇒ Area = (2 m)²

    ⇒ Area = 4 m²
