   : l=8 cm , b= 6 cm. √64+36=√100= 10 cm. ∴length of diagonal is 10 cm.

   Length = 8cm

   Breadth = 6cm

   We know rectangle makes 90° with each of its side.

   So using pythogoras theorem we can get the length of the diagonal

   (diagonal)^2 = (8)^2 + (6)^2

   (diagonal)^2 = 64 + 36

   (diagonal)^2 = 100

   diagonal = √100 = 10cm.
