1 kg of each Potato, Onion and Tomato for a total of Rs 85.
=> P + O + T = 85 Eq1
4 kg of potato, 3kg of onion and 2 kg of tomato for Rs 280
=> 4P + 3O + 2T = 280 Eq2
6 kg potato, 2 kg onion and 3 kg tomato for Rs 345
=> 6P + 2O + 3T = 345 Eq3
Eq2 – 2 * Eq1
=> 2P + O = 110
Eq3 – 3 * Eq1
=> 3P – O = 90
Adding both
5P = 200
=> P = 40
2P + O = 110 => 2(40) + O = 110
=> O = 30
P + O + T = 85
40 + 30 + T = 85
=> T = 15
Potato = 40 Rs per kg
Onion = 30 Rs per kg
Tomato = 15 Rs per kg
