1. Answer:

   For triangle DEF, let the angles are x,y and z

   then x+y+z=180o

   ∠DFP=180o−x

   ∠EDQ=180o−y

   ∠FER=180o−z

   Add these three equations, we get

   ∠DFP+∠EDQ+∠FER=540o−(x+y+z)

   =540o−180o

   =360o

   Hence, ∠DFP+∠EDQ+∠FER=360o
