    Solution:

    a = first term , r = common ratio

    4th term u4 = ar³

    9th term u9 = ar⁸

    u9/u4=3⁵

    => ar⁸ / ar³ = 3⁵

    => r⁵ = 3⁵

    => r = 3

    ar³ = 135

    => a (3)³ = 135

    => a = 5

    a = 5 , r = 3 , n = 10

    Sₙ = a(rⁿ – 1)/(r – 1)

    = 5 ( 3¹⁰ – 1) / ( 3 – 1)

    = 5 ( 3¹⁰ – 1) /2

    = (5/2) ( 3¹⁰ – 1)

    p = 5/2 and q = 3¹⁰
