   Length of one diagonal of the rhombus = 8.

   Half the length of the diagonal of the rhombus = 4.

   Half the length of the second diagonal of the rhombus = {5²–4²]¹/² = 3.

   Length of the second diagonal of the rhombus = 6.

   Area of the rhombus = 8*6/2 = 24 sq units.
