    first number= 2x

    third number= 4x (half of 4x is 2x)

    Average= (x+2x+4x)/3

    56= 7x/3

    x= 56×3/7= 8×3= 24

    first number= 2x= 2×24= 48

    third number= 4x= 4×24= 96

    therefore, the numbers are 48, 24 and 96
