1. Given:–

   • Length of rectangular piece of land = 500m

   • Breadth of rectangular piece of land = 300m

   To Find:–

   • Area of rectangular piece of land

   • The cost of the land if 1m² of the land costs ₹ 10,000

   Solution:–

   (i) Area of rectangle = l × b

   = 500 × 300

   = 150000 m²

   (ii) Cost of land for 1 m² = ₹ 10000

   Cost of the land for 150000 m² = 10000 × 150000

   = ₹ 1500000000
